We are looking for a reliable babysitter for 1 child in Uniondale to pick up at 3:15 p.m. and walk across the street to the house until aunt comes home from work. There is heavy traffic between 3:15-3:30 p.m. You can park in our driveway. We would prefer a babysitter who has their own car, who does not smoke, who is CPR certified and who has a college degree. Help with 1st grade homework and (ideally) Spanish homework. Pay rate is $20/hour. Until June 30th.

After School Caregiver In Haverhill Seeking summer care for 6-year-old, with occasional older two kids, starting now and continuing after school for our 3 children in Haverhill. After school duties to include: getting kids off bus (around 3 P. M) M-F, providing snacks, supervising the kids with light chores, and guiding entertainment/activity choices, while working with suggestions from in-home therapists who provide daily support for our 2 older children. We are a non-smoking household, and we have 2 fluffy cats. Our children are neurodiverse and need a patient and calm caregiver, so experience with children with ADHD or high-functioning Autism is preferred. Availability on school-closure days and school breaks is a plus. Potential for expanded hours during the summer is available.

Responsibilities include engaging, developmentally appropriate care, child-led play, meal/snack prep, light tidying, and supporting naps responsively. This role would include preschool pickup for our daughter so a clean driving record is a must. Ideal candidates are calm, reliable, and experienced with young kids. The weekly schedule is somewhat flexible. CPR certified and open to the occasional date night is a plus.
