Looking For A Full Time Nanny For Our 18 Month Old Daughter! - H...

Full Time $21 – 23/hr Starts 04/21 Alexandria, VA
Hello! We are looking for a full time nanny for our 18-month-old daughter. The right fit for our family is someone who has experience with newborns and toddlers, and is looking to grow with a young family. Primary responsibilities will include planning activities, educational crafts, going to explore the neighborhood, clean up after in door playtime, setting up for meal time, putting down for naps, and ensuring a day to day routine for our daughter. We are expecting our second in August and come November would like our nanny to care for our newborn as well. At that point, compensation would be adjusted for the additional responsibilities. Our apartment is next to many walkable activities, so transportation is not required but we do have guest parking. We have a 5-year-old chocolate lab, dad will be working in office, and mom works from home! Our family values punctuality, openness, and transparent communication. We have had two nanny's since my daughter was born and both have become part of our extended family. We value someone that will prioritize having memorable experiences with our daughter and help her develop! Our daughter is at the stage where play time is everything! She loves running around outside, going to the park, playing with her toys, and reading books. She is rapidly picking up words and we try to encourage her to try new things. Our daughter has not been in environments with many kids! So someone who can go to local playgrounds, activity centers, and toddler groups to help her develop her social skills would be great. I think the most important is someone who has a love for kids and the experiences that come with taking care of babies and toddlers. Being patient and gentle is so important, while also having a silly side and being able to connect with kids at their level. Our building has guest parking and minutes walking from Metro. Having someone that can be on time is extremely important. We have 5-year-old chocolate lab named Patton. He is extremely friendly and is entering his lazier years. That being said, he loves all people so someone who is comfortable with dogs/larger breeds is preferred. He will spend most of his day next to mom while she works.
