We are looking for a tutor for our daughter. She is in 7th grade, on an IEP, and has learning difficulties. She is in a mainstream classroom for Science and History, which she needs the most help on. She is behind in reading but does well in Math. She is very positive and likes school, she just struggles to stay on task and needs reminders on basics or things learned the year previously. Ideally, we would like to hire someone who has experience teaching in a special education classroom or has worked with someone who learns like our daughter. We need someone who can commit to helping with homework at least once per week for an hour and can pay $50/hour. We also need someone who can come once a week during the summertime to prepare her for the next grade. Virtual tutoring will not work for us. Thank you, any help is appreciated!
