About the job
Looking for a fun and imaginative playmate for my smart, home-schooled, wheelchair using daughter who has muscular dystrophy. She is very intelligent and verbal, and loves science experiments, slime, crafting, singing, online games and video games. Ideally you can come to play for 3 hours at a time. We are hoping for someone creative and capable of initiating stories, dialogue and crafts. We are looking for a playmate, not a tutor. An adult will be present at all times for potty and transfer needs. She is more physically fragile than her neurotypical peers so finding older playmates makes the most sense for her safety. Schedule is very flexible, anytime after noon up until 9 p.m. We do have occasional doctor's appointments, so we hope that you can flexible too.
