Our daughter has been recognized as needing a non-public school setting. She needs academic support 1 or 2 late afternoons/evenings. Days/times very flexible. She missed a lot of school last year, when she was in 3rd grade, and she is repeating that in her new school. However, she needs support to work closer to her grade level, despite learning challenges. Her instruction needs to be coordinated with her new school, to stay in touch with what the class is experiencing. She also has particular psychological challenges that an experienced special educator will be able to work with, including skills in relational motivation vs. incentive. A Plus if Exper. in Orton-Gillingham, scaffolding more than typical, & multi-modal instruction. We are excited to work with a tutor who can become part of her learning team!
