We are a military family relocating to Colorado Springs this summer. I am a single parent with a rising third grader; she is sweet and fun and funny. I am looking for a part-time caregiver to fill in gaps and seams between my work hours and the hours of summer camps. Ideally, our babysitter will arrive when I need to depart for work and transport her safely to camp, then pick her up in the afternoon, return her home, and do some tutoring over an easy snack until I return home. This could be as little as two-to-four non-consecutive hours each day, but, depending on our babysitters flexibility, I might enroll my daughter in some half day camps, which would offer more hours. We hope to find someone who is kind, reliable and communicative to welcome into our home for the summer, with occasional babysitting beyond!

D is my 10-year-old baby boy. He is not able to attend school due to his medical condition, congenital heart failure/awaiting heart transplant eval. He has a continuous IV drip that is mobile (in his backpack). No worries, there will be a nurse at the residence during the hours of care. None of his medical needs will need to be tended to by a caregiver. He is in school and will probably need assistance with assignments. Most of his work is online and will be done with a tutor. He loves video games, watching movies, arts and crafts and cooking. He is a bundle of joy and the sweetest child you will ever meet and he is quite the character. He just needs someone (other than his nurse) to be with him to keep him entertained while I go to work. I am active duty military.

Bring child home; tidy house, prepare afternoon clothes for other two children; feed the dog and let her outside; prepare dinner for the children; run afternoon carpools.
