About the job
We are a military family relocating to Colorado Springs this summer. I am a single parent with a rising third grader; she is sweet and fun and funny. We hope to find someone who is kind, reliable and communicative to welcome into our home for the summer! Our nanny will need to be available 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. , but I hope to supplement childcare with tutoring a few days a week, which could abbreviate work days by a few hours (ending, for example, at 4 p.m. ). Responsibilities will be directly related to childcare: promoting a safe, nurturing environment, preparing simple meals and snacks, overseeing personal hygiene, encouraging the performance of age-appropriate chores, facilitating outdoor playtime, and occasional outings. I am open to continuing employment once school starts, 3:30-5:30, M-F, if our nanny is able to tutor.
