I am a veteran middle and high school social studies and language arts teacher including experience teaching in schools specifically for students with dyslexia. I have tutored exclusively since 2012 in a variety of settings including schools, online and in person one-on-one in their homes, at libraries and other public places. I work with students from first grade through undergraduates on all aspects of language arts including learning to read, reading remediation, dyslexia accommodations, IEP applications, grammar, essay writing, study skills, test preparation and AP courses. I have a master's degree in history and thus work with all aspects of social studies and history including the AP exam. I am a member of the National Tutoring Association (NAT) working towards certification as a tutor as well as specific certification for the SAT and ACT including the new digital SAT through NAT and the Association of Test Preparation, Admissions and Private Tutoring (TPAPT).
