If your child is a struggling reader, I can help! I am trained to teach students with dyslexia and struggling readers. I am a certified teacher and have over 20 years of teaching experience. I have 10 years of reading intervention experience working one-on-one with students. I am trained in LindaMood, Orton Gillingham and the Barton program. I'd describe my personality as sincere, witty and patient. I enjoy tutoring because it is rewarding to see a child accomplish things they never thought possible. I'm looking for a job targeted to help struggling readers with explicit phonics instruction. I began tutoring students in 2014. I loved it so much, I decided to leave the classroom the following year and become a full-time reading tutor. In my spare time, I like to shop, walk, and travel. One thing you should know about me is I can find a combination of methodologies that will work best for your child. My skills include dyslexia, reading intervention, and phonics-based instruction.
