About Selena

Hi! My name is Selena, I have a bachelors degree in anthropology and was working as an anthropologist/archaeologist after I graduated, but I have had recent longing to start getting back into childcare. I was a nanny in college for a family that had two boys. When I started with them in 2018, the eldest was 3 and the younger wasn't born yet but I built a strong relationship with the family. I love doing crafts, making music, dancing, reading, doing fun enrichments and science experiments, and going to museums. Genuinely any activity I can think of to engage with kids minds and keep them active at any age. I have my own car and a clean driving record. I can cook, clean, take care of pets, and run errands if needed. I am also CPR/AED/First Aid certified. I currently work at a non-profit preschool in Fairhaven as a teaching assistant to one of five classes with the 1-2-year-olds.
