About Ariel

My mother ran a daycare out of our home starting shortly after I was born, and so I grew up surrounded by children (lots of them) for as far back as I can remember. I started babysitting throughout middle and high school and continued this work through college. In 2010 I moved to NYC from my small town to study art, art education, and early childhood development at Pratt Institute. I taught Saturday Art School there to children aged 6-12 years for two semesters, and taught over 200 hours at a charter school. I have worked with several families throughout my time in NY, long and short term, and have had amazing experiences traveling with families both domestically and abroad. In my free time I am most likely painting, working with clay, sewing, fishing, museum trips, really any outdoor/creative activity. All proven hits with the little ones too! Looking forward to finding that perfect match here in Seattle.
