About Sarah

I'm looking for a job that offers part time hours and a rewarding opportunity to help children feel good about themselves and be motivated to learn and grow. I started tutoring when I retired from my work as a teacher of special education, preschool through 5th grade Spanish and English second language learning, and reading to preschool through 2nd grade. One thing you should know about me is that I retired after my husband became disabled and needed my care. I love working with children and would like to continue doing so even though I retired. I just need to work part time and be somewhat flexible. My skills include teaching Spanish and teaching reading skills. I build a strong rapport with students and use their interests to help them learn new material while being supportive and motivational.
