Hi! My name is Mackenzie, and I am so excited to meet you and your young learner! I am experienced as a teacher in a wide range of subjects: I taught high school Spanish at a charter school from 2019 to 2021 with the Teach for America program, served as a 9th and 10th grade English/Language Arts summer school instructor during the 2019 summer academic session, volunteered as a lead ESL teacher for students in 1st-6th grade in Peru during a college summer break, and worked as a substitute Spanish and support teacher at a preschool at age 20. I have a lifelong passion for learning that spreads across a diverse range of subjects, and I hope that I'm able to share that love of learning with your child too! In addition to being fluent in Spanish, I am conversant (beginner/intermediate) in Italian & Chinese, and am able to read Korean.
