About Sarah

Hi my name is Sarah! I have extensive experience in childcare and education. I have worked as a nanny, an elementary teacher (grades k-4), and have run various childcare/education programs. My most important role, however, is being a mom to my 8-year-old son. Two years ago I resigned from my 4th grade teaching position to be home with him and to further my education. I have a Masters Degree in Elementary Education with a focus on literacy. My passion has always been caring for kids and watching them learn and grow. I enjoy nature walks, outdoor games, and arts & crafts with kids. I am comfortable caring for multiple children of all ages and can support homework, hobbies, and social emotional/ health needs. My warm-hearted nature and attentive approach makes sure that children are valued, supported, and understood. I am energetic, compassionate, and patient! In my spare time, I like to hike, bike, workout, read, craft, run, and go camping with family!
