About Emma

I started working with kids at 12 years old and professionally nannied in college. I recently left my HR role at a vibrant tech company to pursue childcare and education so I can make a difference in the lives of children and families who need it. In my spare time, I like to do crafts, go on hikes, play video games, and adventure with my dog! I have an arts degree and a science minor and love learning more about the natural world and staying curious. One thing you should know about me is I love Studio Ghibli animated films and will likely watch one with your kids. (With parental sign off first, of course!) My skills include: - Establishing trust and clear boundaries based on respect so children can feel safe while being cared for. - Planning fun and creative activities/outings for kids with a focus on their specific developmental needs at their age/education level. - Experience in assisting and caring for children with autism, sensory issues, and learning disabilities.
