I am a personal care aide (pca), which is just a step down from a cna, but all my experience includes CNA work. I have worked equally with other CNA's. My main expertise was at an assisted living facility in the memory care unit. I spent a lot of that time with the palliative care residents who were in their final stages of alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and dementia. I am familiar with hoyer lifts, the proper use of gait belts, and assisted lifts. I have experience in assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and denture cleaning. I am able to engage the person in talk or activity.. I am CPR and first aid certified. If I did not mention a skill that you are looking for please reach out and ask if I am able to provide it.
