Caring and compassionate registered nurse. I graduated community college in 2020 with my associates in nursing. I am an Army veteran, and also a mom of three grown kids. I have a passion for the elderly and dementia care. Teepa Snow is an excellent resource for dementia care if you need one! I've taken some training with her as well. I spent 9 months working in a long-term care facility. My desire is to provide excellent and safe care. The goal is to make the clients life as pleasant and comfortable of possible. Safety always comes first. I am always eager to learn, and find out what works best for the client. It could be listening to stories, playing a card game, helping prepare meals, providing reminders, assisting with personal care, staying mobile, chair exercises, and medication.
