I took care of my mother-in-law and her sister as they aged. After my mother-in-law died, her sister wanted to go into a nursing home. Luckily we found a really good one about 2 miles from the house. Some days I was at the nursing home 5 times a day. My husband and I often joined her friend group for coffee during their meals. I shopped for her, took walks with her, changed her diaper, and attended to any of her needs with love.
