Two years ago both my parents fell ill. My dad had diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and had just gone through back surgery. I was taking him to and from his wound care appointments and pain management appointments for months. Eventually his wounds were not healing and he had to be put on antibiotics through a pic line which meant I was the one administering his medications around the clock. I was also cooking and cleaning and doing all the feedings laundry and household chores. My mom who had Lupis had gotten Covid from one of the home health nurses. She had to be admitted to the ICU and when they released her home she wasn't mobile. I was also changing her, feeding her, and helping with her medications. I used this app to help me get some rest when I needed someone to sit with my mother. I know how much of a godsend some of these people were during those difficult times and I want to make myself available to do the same for others.
