I began my career at a nursing home in Massachusetts and in 2010, I became a private aide for 5 families dealing with illnesses such as multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's and dementia. In 2015 I moved to Charleston to be closer to my daughter and cared for a lady diagnosed with Parkinson's. I helped her bathe, dress, accompanied her to appointments at MUSC and the hair dresser.
