About Norien

Hello, I am Norien. I have six years of teaching experience. Before teaching, I worked in publishing as a writer/content creator. Currently, I homeschool a middle school student and a high school student. Like many students, my students experienced a significant loss in learning during the pandemic. In 2021 their parents attempted to send them back to school and realized they had missed so much that they needed to be kept back a grade. My 6th-grade student needed help understanding multiplication and addition. Her handwriting was so illegible, that she could not read it back to herself. In two short years, that student has gone from having to use 2nd-grade flash cards to now doing algebraic equations. Her content knowledge and confidence have soared. We have proven results from the standardized tests we implement each year. It is my goal to help your student gain the confidence and skills necessary to once again enjoy learning.
