About Kristen

I was a 4th grade teacher for 9 years and am now teaching 5th grade math! Throughout my career I have tutored students in grades 2-5 during the school year and over the summer. I can help students with their homework and provide extra help on skills they seem to be struggling with throughout the school year. I communicate with the students teacher, with your permission, to get their professional opinion on what is needed. I can give your student that one on one attention most children need and provide support and patience for them to feel confident in themselves and the work they are doing! Summer tutoring offered to rising 3rd, 4th and 5th graders to keep their skills sharp, close any gaps from the previous grade and prepare them for what they will see this coming school year.
