About Linda

I'd describe my personality as motivational, knowledgeable, and empathetic. I like tutoring because I enjoy using my certifications from K to 12 in seeing the impact that I have on student growth and development. I'm looking for a job that I can support parents/guardians in assisting their children in being successful in school. I also, support, adults in their educational pursuits. I started tutoring over 20 years ago. In my spare time, I like to be involved in theatre. One thing you should know about me is that I enjoy teaching. I delight in reducing the anxiety that often accompanies academic remediation or enrichment. My skills include building relationships with families that help me personalize learning, patience, the ability to adjust teaching methods across content, and communication.
