About Mikal

I've always been passionate about helping children learn and develop, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to do just that as a childcare provider. I'm a patient, friendly, and approachable individual with a strong background in child development and care. I have over a year of experience working with children of all ages, and I'm comfortable caring for up to one child at a time. I have a college degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Child Life Specialist, and I'm also a mother of four beautiful children. I believe in open and honest communication with parents, and I will always keep you updated on your child's day. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules and routines. I love playing all sorts of games with children, from outdoor sports and physical games to board games and puzzles. I also enjoy educational games that promote learning. I'm a non-smoker, and I'm happy to help with cooking and meal preparation.
