About Jessica

I've started in the last 3 years of my life to caring for children because I'm passionate about fostering their growth and development. I'm patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I always follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules and I'm comfortable caring for up to 6 children. I communicate with parents about their child's day or any issues that arise or updates via text or phone call, or by following the parents' preferred communication method. I enjoy playing board games and puzzles, educational games that promote learning, and technology-based games and apps with children. I'm comfortable caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. I am also a mother and I work when my kids are with their dad. I believe in positive education, listening and solving problems together, negotiating and enabling them to think about solutions too. In addition to English, I also speak Portuguese and a little bit of Spanish.
