About Michaela

I've spent more than 15 years working professionally with children in different capacities, most recently as a museum guest relations manager. I also spent five years as a youth director at the Y, overseeing over 200 kids between the ages of 2 and 12. I have a patient, friendly approach that children respond well to. I'm experienced in caring for children of various ages and backgrounds, and I'm comfortable enforcing household rules when necessary. I believe in open communication with parents and will provide regular updates on your child's day, using your preferred method of contact. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, both educational and recreational, and I'm always looking for new and engaging activities. I'm also happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, and light housekeeping. I hold current First Aid and CPR certifications and have completed coursework in early child development. I speak both English and Spanish.
