I am reliable, responsible and full of creative personality! I have worked with children my entire life; engaging and helping them develop and grow. I am the oldest of 7 and a single mom to my beautiful 5-year-old. My specialty is with infants, toddlers and school age children. I also have extensive experience with autism and unique families. I've worked as an after school teacher and in multiple places for children's birthday parties. I also have the added bonus of a BFA in photography and worked photographing both infants and school age children with national companies so there is also the added plus of frequent professional portraits of your little ones in their day to day. I'm looking for stable, long term work. Thank you for your consideration.

I am writing to share my recent experience with a nanny, Ariel, whom I hired for my children, including one with special needs. It's important for me to express my concerns to assist other parents in making informed decisions. During her tenure, there were several instances that raised concerns: Respect and Professionalism: I encountered situations where Ariel's behavior felt disrespectful in my home. This was particularly evident when discussing sensitive matters about my child's care. Child Care Practices: On one occasion, my 2-year-old non-verbal child was left crying in a playpen with the lights off, a method I found inappropriate and distressing. Work Ethic: Ariel often claimed not to take breaks, yet there were frequent periods where she was disengaged, using her phone or staying in the bathroom for extended times, during which my older child watched over the younger ones. Attire: Her choice of attire was often not appropriate for a professional childcare setting. Experience and Expectations: While Ariel claims significant childcare experience, I found that her skills and methods did not align with the specialized needs of my family. I believe it's crucial for a nanny to be attentive, responsible, and supportive of the family's values and needs. Unfortunately, my experience with Ariel did not meet these expectations, and her approach to childcare and professionalism was not commensurate with her stated qualifications or wage requirements. I hope this feedback is helpful for any parent considering her services in the future. It's essential to ensure that a caregiver's practices and professionalism align with your family's needs.
