About Merline

I have extensive experience working with children who have special needs, particularly those on the autism spectrum. In my role as an early childhood educator and nanny, I have developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges and rewards that come with supporting children with special needs. I am CPR, and AED certified, and I have completed 40 hours of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training, equipping me with the skills to provide effective, compassionate care tailored to each child's individual needs. My approach focuses on creating a structured, supportive environment that promotes positive behaviors, learning, and independence. I use a variety of techniques, from visual aids and sensory activities to communication strategies, to help children feel safe and engaged. I'm passionate about helping children develop to their fullest potential while supporting their families with consistent, understanding care.
