I was a licensed elementary music teacher at a Montessori school for five years before stopping to have my own babies! I have nannied, babysat, and taught children for most of my life. I work to integrate the Montessori principle of teaching children practical life skills all throughout our day. We homeschool, and I would love to include your child in our fun and engaging preschool activities. MaryAnn is an amazing babysitter and we loved having her watch our 2 year old daughter. She is incredibly loving, kind, and patient. She provides an atmosphere for children that is fun and joyful. She is intentional to help meet the needs of each child and fosters an environment of learning. She has a background in education and that is evident in the way she cares for children as well. She does an excellent job communicating with children and taking opportunities to help kids understand things whether that be explaining how a new toy works, teaching how to take turns while playing with other kids, or teaching the letters of the alphabet. She also does a great job handling conflict between kids with a calm and patient demeanor. Our daughter always loved going to her house and really enjoyed playing with her kids, who are also very sweet. MaryAnn is a woman of integrity and very trust worthy. I highly recommend her!
