I worked full time as an assistant teacher in a Montessori school for two years, while working part time as a caretaker at a children's home. Prior to this, dating back to my teenage early 20s years, babysitting/ nannying children was always an essential part of my life because I loved being a part of the nurturing of these young developing minds. Quality literature, nature walks, imaginative play, singing songs, poetry readings, artsy endeavors, guiding them to accomplish tasks like washing dishes, scrubbing the table, watering the plants etc., outdoor games, are some of my "nanny strengths" if you will.
