About Marilyn

My name is Michelle, I am a devoted wife to an incredible husband (26 years), a proud mom to two amazing boys(19&16) and a lover of all animals. I homeschooled our boys for 7 years and it was through this journey that I discovered my passion for teaching/tutoring. I've concluded that learning new subjects puts all people, adult or child, in a very vulnerable state creating insecurities which can result in shame. My goal is to break down individual barriers and build confidence while making learning fun and exciting. After a long day in a classroom and behind a desk additional learning should be hands on, positive and creative. I have experience tutoring children of all ages (including those with learning disabilities) and subjects. I enjoy teaching the fundamentals of reading and writing. I have been vaccinated and will whatever additional precautions you feel necessary to ensure your child's learning environment is safe. .
