About Lauren

Background: I am currently a college student at the University of Hawaii studying Elementary Education. I have been an honors and AP student throughout middle school and high school and I am now apart of the honors program at the University. I have tutored throughout my high school career with children of all ages in different subjects. I am also very proficient with online learning tools and video meetings . Methodology: I understand that each individual student has their own way of learning and comprehending new subjects. I believe education should be fun and exciting. Before each session I will review the content and lessons that need to be taught. I will come up with fun activities, lesson plans, and games to help the child stay engaged and involved. After a couple sessions I will form my teaching style that best fits the student and how they learn.
