About Kiarra

Hi Families, my name is Kiarra! I have many years of experience being in child care and around children. I became a registered behavioral therapist for kids with autism and was in that role for four years. I nannied for two different families through care. com, my first family I nannied siblings that were 4 years old and 2 years old until the mom no longer needed me ! I was responsible for caring for both children, driving the 4-year-old to and from her school, lunches and sometimes dinner, and learning activities. The second family I nannied their baby who was 9 months old up until she turned 1 and then they put her in a day care they were waiting to get accepted into. I would make the baby breakfast, change the diapers, bathe, put child down for a nap, walks and helped teach developmental skills. Through my experience, I know the importance of how play and teaching can coexist, I have great patience, behavioral strategies and a compassionate and understanding attitude!!
