I started nannying in 2005 as a college student. The family had three children who were newborn, two and nine when I started. After college, I moved to South Africa for a year to volunteer at an orphanage. There, I helped with the daily care of 30-35 infants and toddlers. This entailed ensuring that each of the 18 babies under my direct supervision were getting the highest level of both physical and emotional care. After returning to the US, I nannied for a family in Golden who have triplets. I started with the babies when they were 4 months old, and was with them until they started school. From 2017 to 2020, I was with the M family, who had two boys (ages 4 months and 4 years when I started.) I started with the G family in 2020, and was with them for 1. 5 years caring for their two little ones; they were 4 months and 17 months when I began. Most recently, I have been with an amazing family with triplets. These darling girls will be turning 2 soon, and are moving on to preschool!

Amanda is a fantastic nanny and a wonderful person to welcome in your home. She has been caring for our two kids for the past year and a half since they were 6 months and 20 months, respectively. The only reason we cannot continue this arrangement is because our kids will start attending formal daycare in January (as pandemic-era babies they need the socialization sooner than later). Amanda has been amazing in not only providing loving, competent care but also actively teaching our kids to talk and engage with the world around them. We have learned so much about parenting from her and are so grateful to have had her in our kids' lives.
