About Kristen

As the older sister of two siblings, I have always had a maternal instinct. My babysitting experience started in my early teens when I would do after school hours for neighborhood families and cousins. All throughout high school I took family and consumer science classes such as child development, preschool, and marriage and family. After graduating high school in 2007, I took on my first part-time nannying job. I cared for twin girls who were 1 & 1/2 years, and a boy who was 3 years of age. I was with them for about 7 months until they moved. After they moved, I nannyed full-time for a family who had a girl who was 2 & 1/2 and a boy who was 4. I stayed with them for about a year until I needed to further my interior design career by taking on a full-time internship. I enjoy spending a balanced amount of time playing with and teaching children. I think it is important to stay active and spend as much time as possible outside. I can prepare meals, maintain a clean and positive environment, take on the responsibilities of daily activities, and teach the children minor to moderate lessons depending on their age. I have enjoyed interacting and working with kids my whole life, and would love to help a family in need of someone who is independent, experienced, responsible, and trustworthy.
