About Kayleigh

Hi! My name is Kayleigh! I am currently an undergraduate student at Virginia Tech studying biology on the pre-med track, I have 7 years of experience working at summer camps with many children and babysitting! I have always loved working with children, since I started teaching at a soccer camp at 12 years old. Last summer, I worked at ACAC at the summer camp where I had 30 kids between another counselor and me, every week! I loved watching the kiddos grow and create friendships with other kids while also growing closer to my coworkers and me. I have worked with children from ages 3 months - 14 years old and love helping children learn, play and grow! I specialize in infants and toddlers, but I enjoy creating a bond with children of all ages. I am patient, kind, and understanding sitter who uses positive reinforcement and affirmations to help bring the confidence of kiddos up while also working with them to find solutions to hard problems.
