About Tess

As the oldest of four siblings (and the oldest of many cousins), I learned to take care of those around me from a young age. I have babysat intermittently since I was 13, and in high school began to teach swim lessons to kids of varying ages, which I have continued to do every summer! I gained much of my experience working with children during Summer 2023, when I had the privilege of working at Camp Starfish in Rindge, New Hampshire. I served as a counselor to campers ages 6 through 22 with social, emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges. Through this role, I received trainings regarding behavior management and de-escalation. I have a passion for helping children and appreciating them for who they are, and would love to help you this summer!
