About Kayah

Hello! My name is Kayah, I'm a San Diego native. I have a lot of experience babysitting, nannying and working in daycares on and off for about the past 10+ years. I definitely have a passion for working with children. I am a certified yoga teacher + kids yoga teacher as well which I feel has given me a lot of patience and creative skills to help the children around me. I work for myself so I have an extremely flexible schedule. In my free time I paint, make jewelry and volunteer at The Mingei museum in their education department, usually working on art projects with the students. I enjoy bringing all of these skills into my time with children, working on art projects, exploring, learning new things, cooking and finding fun ways to pick up after ourselves :) I am open to some cleaning and cooking. I am very reliable, consistent and organized. I enjoy the balance between creativity and structure, being able to create a fun and safe environment for everyone.
