About Harriet

I started working with kids when I was 15 and I babysat for the first time. I love kids and I was a singer and performer growing up and I started to give singing lessons to younger kids in our neighborhood. It was the most rewarding experience to see kids discover a love of music. I nannied all throughout college as well and was with one family for two years in addition to babysitting other children as needed for parents I met through my nanny family. In my spare time, I like to be creative and active. For me that involves yoga as I am a yoga teacher and I also teach a local kids yoga class. I love spending time with my family and friends, and spoiling my French Bulldog Toby. I also love to bake. My skills include creativity and helping kids to learn and engage all parts of their brain through fun yet educational games and activities. I am well versed in helping children navigate their big emotions and feelings in a healthy way as well while fostering independence and growth.
