Hello! I have 15 years of experience caring for children with ages ranging from 3 months old to 12 years old. I love working with children and creating a fun, supportive, and caring environment. I pride myself in being extremely patient, empathetic, and developmentally-minded. My goal is to always collaborate with parents and create a respectful environment for all! I am looking for a temporary position lasting 1-3 months, as I am currently pursuing my MBA in Health Administration from CU Denver and looking for a long-term career in healthcare. For the past three years, I served as the primary caretaker for a 5-year-old boy with special needs. He is developmentally delayed, deaf with bilateral cochlear implants, and requires feeding through a gastrostomy tube. This position allowed me to establish a developmentally-minded approach, as my main role was to help implement physical, occupational, and speech therapy techniques to foster growth and meet developmental milestones.
