About Julia

Hello all, I am a lower primary teacher with 18 years of experience. I have had extensive training in early literacy instruction and have served as a reading intervention teacher. Helping children to become skilled readers and writers is one of the highlights of my career. If your child is in TK-2nd grade, I can provide your child with instruction targeting word attack strategies, phonics and reading comprehension, helping him/her to become a stronger reader. I am offering two separate online courses. One course will be for students in TK-K. This course is designed to help students get a jumpstart in reading. The other course is for students in 1st-2nd grade. This course is designed for struggling readers. It is essential that parents are present during online reading courses. I try to have no more than 5 students present for each lesson. Please inquire for additional information.
