About Carrie

Carrie is an educator with nearly a decade of experience supporting K-5th students. With a primary focus in literacy development, social skills, and executive functioning, Carrie is able to offer targeted support based on student needs. Carrie also offers 1st and 2nd grade math support through various games and activities. Carrie takes an inquiry based approach that considers the students strengths just as much as their areas of growth. After working with various curriculums including Social Thinking, Structured Word Inquiry, Bridges Math, The Science of Reading, and Fountas and Pinnell, Carrie combines their Design Thinking experience with all of the above to meet a child where they are and create hands-on, engaging support. Their tutoring rates range from $50-$75 an hour depending on student support needs. Discounted rates offered for small group support. Carrie also offers childcare for children between ages 2-12 with an hourly rate of $30-$45 an hour.
