About Abi

Hi! My name is Abi (she/her). I offer personalized tutoring to help identify areas for development, master concepts, and build strong study strategies. Five years of tutoring experience in the humanities, sciences, and college-preparation. I offer tutoring and academic coaching services to students in Elementary, Middle, and High School. I also college-prep support and help students prepare college essays. My Approach: Growth-Mindset: Any student can come to master & find value in any subject. Student-Centric Style: Students are the owners of their learning. I help students better understand their learning styles and adapt my approach to best fit their unique needs. Mentorship: I believe that the most impactful teachers are also role models and mentors. I love working with students and building relationships. I create space for students to ask for guidance and offer my own perspective and experiences to reassure students they are not alone.
