Erin is a standout among the more than 20 caregivers I employed over a decade for the care of aunt and also separately for my mother. She is deeply compassionate, intelligent, reflective and observant. She understands dementia and works in a kindly, gentle and patient manner with her patient. Her years of experience working as a caregiver, combined with her recent RN degree are evident skill set and decision making. She is proficient in infection control, medication management, incontinence care, use of Hoyer lift, transferring, use of Purewick, catheterizing, bedsore avoidance and care, wound care and all forms of skin care. She is an excellent cook and very knowledgeable regarding nutrition. She is competent in bathing and dressing, selecting attractive and comfortable outfits and wonderful with haircare. She possesses excellent judgement an knows just when to contact the MD and communicates in an informative, comprehensive and professional manner with other medical professionals. Erin works well with a team and is extremely respectful of her fellow teammates. She interacts in a very kind and pleasant manner with her patient. I enjoyed interacting with her myself as did the rest of my family. I felt entirely confident when my mother was in her hands. Her written records are excellent and comprehensive. She arrives to work on time and is entirely dependable on meeting her assigned shifts. My mother loved her and was so happy to see her arrive. She has my very highest recommendation. She worked for my mother for four years.
