I've been providing companion care for elderly people for about four years now and it's awesome. That's not just for me, but the people I've worked with. I listen to my clients. I am responsible and responsive. I take taking care of people very seriously, though I'm not a particularly serious person. I'm an early retired journalist. I drive a late model suv and have a clean driving record. I'm also CPR certified. More often than not, I'm the first outsider families contact. I respect that vulnerability. As to the services I provide, it all depends on my client's abilities and interests. I take clients to parks, shopping, doctors' appointments, etc. I am looking for a new client because after two years together, my current client is moving in to assisted living. Eve has been wonderful caring for my 91 year old Mom. She's always on time; has been very dependable and patient with my Mom who is independent but needs memory support. Eve has many great qualities and has a very interesting background that brings even more to each day. She really is very understanding and brings joy to my Mom. We look forward to having her back when my Mother returns from her summer home. We feel extremely blessed to have her in our lives. Eve also does some child care/ driving / help with homework etc. She very talented! Again, look forward to her return!!
