I've been providing companion care for elderly people for about four years now and it's awesome. That's not just for me, but the people I've worked with. I listen to my clients. I am responsible and responsive. I take taking care of people very seriously, though I'm not a particularly serious person. I'm an early retired journalist. I drive a late model suv and have a clean driving record. I'm also CPR certified. More often than not, I'm the first outsider families contact. I respect that vulnerability. As to the services I provide, it all depends on my client's abilities and interests. I take clients to parks, shopping, doctors' appointments, etc. I am looking for a new client because after two years together, my current client is moving in to assisted living. We as a family are so blessed to have had Eve as Moms caregiver for two years! My last review is all true …how compassionate and understanding Eve is and can easily adjust to any situation! We will miss seeing her due to having to have Mom in an assisted living home. If you get to have Eve as your caregiver or a family member you will be so extremely grateful!
