About Emma

Hi! I am a UCLA alum (Microbio BS) new to NYC and I love to tutor! I have worked as an Honors Math tutor for grades 3-5 where I created innovative lesson plans to instill fundamental concepts while ensuring problem solving skills for assignment/exam success. I pride myself on connecting with students and filtering lessons to fit their needs. Additionally, I have spent time tutoring Chemistry and Genetics at the High School and College level. Learning these concepts is challenging and did not come easily to me initially. For this reason, I feel as though my method of teaching is more thorough and addresses common challenges faced by students.
