About Helen

My experience as a tutor has been incredibly rewarding. At university, where I pursued a degree in Mathematics and Spanish Language and Literature, I discovered the joy of helping others grasp complex concepts. As a private math tutor, I have experience in tailoring lesson plans for numerous students. These lessons have not only improved my students' grades, but also enhanced their confidence and time management skills. I have taught math subjects including geometry, algebra, trigonometry, and calculus. I have also taught English and Spanish to non-native speakers. Witnessing a student elevate their grades was a particularly fulfilling moment for me. I love tutoring because it enables me to make a difference in my students' academic journeys and foster a supportive environment where they can develop a love for learning.
