Hello! My name is Dena and I live in Lakewood. I have three grown kids and one adorable grandson! I love spending time with my family and friends, reading, being outdoors and going to Disneyland. I have over 20 years of experience working in childcare. I have worked as a Head Start Preschool teacher, a nanny/ babysitter and most recently as a lead teacher of a preschool. I've had the pleasure of working with children as young as newborns to 12 years of age and special needs children. Working with children as always been my passion. Kids are so full of amazing energy and such a joy to be around! Spending time with kids allows me to share my love of learning, art, reading and outdoor play with them. Dena was amazing with my 9-month-old baby! She was incredibly caring and nurturing, which immediately put me at ease. She did a great job entertaining my little one and kept him happy and engaged the entire time. We especially appreciated that she was able to come last minute and was very prompt. Her attentiveness and gentle approach were wonderful. I would absolutely hire her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and loving babysitter. Thank you, Dena!
