About Makenna

As a nurturing and experienced childcare provider, my passion for childcare stems from my love of children and 5 years of babysitting jobs. I've taken 2 years of child development and education courses and 1 year of preschool assistant teaching. Since I was 7 my mom has called me the "baby whisperer" and I've always been the one jump in to help and I love spending time with kids. Parents can rely on me to provide a safe and nurturing environment for their children. I pride myself on being patient, calm, and approachable, creating a comfortable atmosphere where children feel at ease. I believe in open communication and keep parents regularly updated about their child's day, either through verbal communication at pickup or via text or phone calls, whichever method they prefer. I am also comfortable enforcing household rules set by parents when needed. I like to spend time with kids by playing outside and board games.
