About Heather

I'm a mother of an 12-year-old daughter. I have over 30 years of child-care experience with kids of all ages. I have been a preschool/kindergarten teacher at a homeschool co-op for 12 years. I have been 1st Aid and CPR certified for over 20 years. I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and fun. I like working with kids because I enjoy watching them grow and learn new things. I also love getting to know their individual personalities and help them develop in unique ways. I'm looking for a job that will allow me the flexibility to spend time with my own daughter while also being able to be a blessing to another family. I started working with kids when I was in Jr. High. I took care of my teacher's three daughters a few hours a week. From then on, I have been caring for kids in some capacity for over 30 years. In my spare time, I like to play the piano, participate in various church activities, and spend time with my family.
